I've been putting off the painting but started yesterday with the primer coat and am nearly done with it all now. White trim and paint the base is all that's left. Then I can assemble it, put on the flashing (metal around the top edges to prevent rot) and the roof. Neither of these will be hard. The only hard thing will be attaching the chicken wire. I'm not looking forward to it but I suspect that doing it will be easier than thinking about it. Oh, and putting in the floor tiles for the inside. I'll do that before I put the top back on.

I'm baby sitting 13 chickens and two cats at my friend's house. Turns out I could go the rest of my life and never buy another egg and not even have chickens. These guys dropped 7 yesterday and I added them to the pile that were already there.
They don't give their chickens enough protein. The yokes are soft and break easily. Small thing I'd not even know about had I never had any. They make wonderful scrambled and omlets and egg salad but I'd hate to try to poach one.
Funny.
Dana is doing micro better. It is her broken bone that is the problem, I'm sure. There is no way her after market hip is causing so much pain. She is still in a lot of pain and spends a lot of time not moving. It is what she needs but is really frustrating for her. She's avoiting Oxycontin much as possible. Tylanol and Tramadol instead. But sometimes when she moves the pain it 10+ and after a while that is really hard for her to take. Really frustrating. And will be a really slow heal.
I'm done for the day doing anything. Austin FC has a game tonight and that's about it.
Eggs benedict tomorrow morning for Mother's Day.
