ON again Off agin

Two hours of no power this morning so far.  I'm expecting it to go down again.  Fortunately we have a gas stove so no issue eating or making tea/hot chocolate/coffee.  A huge benefit.

And I get to wear a favorite sweater I never wear.

It was given to me by someone in the Perth yacht club during our port visit in Bunbery, WA sometime in the early 80's when I was on USS Barbey.

I do not keep much 'stuff' but this sweater has survived all purges and is comfortable enough to wear in the house or on the sailboat I'll never have again.

Thought you'd like it. We had a great visit to WA. People really nice and it was a warm season so we got to sail in Perth harbor.

No, we don't. Not really worth it but for this week. We're staying warm enough. Mostly just annoying.

Just heard from my family ... my brother and sister in law are staying with his oldest son and three grandkids in Kerrville ... my sister and four of my niece's husband's family are gathered at my niece's home in Round Rock.That means my niece is hosting 10 family members. They are all so stressed about the storm and blackouts ... I haven't even asked if anyone is masking. *sigh* ... We headed up to 11 degrees F today and should b in the mid-30's by the weekend.
