I received my monthly email from my friend that took over most of my residential business. He was advertising the fact that Windows 10 had received its 2 year end of support date. So I checked my PC and it is not new enough to get an upgrade to Windows 11:

So it goes. I built this PC while I still had my company so it is over six years old. Definitely got my money's worth.

My days of involvement with Microsoft are similarly ending as I won't get another PC. The only thing I need an actual Windows PC for is to play a game, Halo, that I've played from one end to the other and back many times. I can let it go. Otherwise I'm a Chrome guy.

I've got two years to decide on a Chrome replacement. Actually I've probably got more as the loss of Windows support is not so much of an issue for me but this PC is just going to up and die one day and I'd rather not scramble when it does.

I've got and will retain two monitors. I've got standards. I could do a laptop or a cone all in one like @susandennis has. I could have three screens then. Not sure and will not rush. Chrome based computers are so cheap by comparison to Windows PC's I've got a lot of leeway.
