Even as I post this

Behind me, through the wall in the garage, the mobile brake guy is replacing my front rotors and brake pads. $500 ish plus tax but at 91K miles I would expect it. The nice thing is the guy is a certified mechanic and no waiting. This is the only car he's working on so it has his full attention. I moved Dana's car out of the garage so he's got a good place to work and will be quickly done. He's going to inspect the rear brakes too which, I suspect, will need to be replaced somewhere down the line. But not today.

I also scheduled Dana to take her Rav 4 to a local garage to have the A/C looked at. The Freon (or whatever goes for Freon now days) is all gone and there is no A/C. Critical in this area. Hopefully it will just be a seal replacement or something and pump it up. Fingers crossed.

Rav 4's last two or three hundred thousand miles so I'm taking care of this one. It is the long distance car.
