Shots and flowers

Actually only one of each.  Finally got my first Pfizer shot.  Never got out of my car.  Zoe helped:

It's her 12th birthday but I still won't let her drive

And got back home to see one of my orchids started blooming:

I'll move them out of the terrarium once soon so we can enjoy the blooms

So far, a good day!

I am so delighted you got your first Covid inoculation!

She owns the car. I'm only the chauffer. If I had a back seat, she'd probably sit there and drink champaign.

And I feel a lot better to be on the path of feeling safe. I'll always wear the mask and socially distance from people I don't know (no real change there) but it is nice to contemplate flying out to see my sister and such.

my orchid bloomed here at home as well — it's one of those grocery bought ones gifted to me two years ago — it's a nice thing to see a gift still giving
