I first heard of the batshit conspiracy theory a year or so ago. I thought it was hilarious. John-John was exactly one month younger than me. I thought he was the dreamiest man on earth, from the time he was a pre-teen until the day he died. The thought of him having plastic surgery to turn into a balding middle-aged average Joe, so he could hide in plain sight as a Trump supporter, is, well, unthinkable. (I know I sound shallow, but it wasn't just his looks I admired him for.)

Look at all of those poor, lost souls. I almost feel sorry for them. Instead I feel sorry for the rest of us.

I'd not heard about this until it hit my feed yesterday. I don't know how to feel about this kind of stuff. People whose ego is so fragile that they will reach out to this kind of stuff rather than face and contribute to reality need to be left on the many ice floes that are being created now.

Jackie remarked at least once that if you haven't raised good kids, you haven't done anything and I'd say she raised good kids who were and are far too intelligent for that sort of nonsense.

I've been keeping an eye on Qanon for a couple of years now, so this is no surprise to me, but it's very interesting watching people find out about some of their more batshit insane theories for the first time. It's like if you think that's bad, wait till you hear about the really crazy stuff! Like...time travel! Oh yes. The JFK Jr thing has been around for ages, and in fact there's more than one Qanoner who claims to be JFK Jr, so that part sounds almost sensible to me now compared to the more out there stuff.

Mostly Qanon worries me, especially after I and all other Q watchers saw February 6 coming from a mile off yet the FBI did nothing. And I'm particularly annoyed that all that crap has made its way here and is contributing to our (small but annoying) antivaxxer movement. But sometimes, I admit, they're good for a really excellent laugh. My favourite Q thing is a map some Qcumber made of Florida showing the underground tunnels where Hillary Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein kept their submarines. Hahahahahaaaa!
