Chili today

It's 52 (11) degrees and rainy.  Just a wonderful day far as I'm concerned.  We sat on our porch this morning and just watched the rain (low bar required for entertainment around here).

Must go chili

If it's cold, must make chili.

I had some frozen chicken, frozen brisket, frozen cooked sausage, hatch chilis, canned tomatoes, and sauce .  Pepper, onion and chili mix.  So all in the pot and then spend the rest of the day smelling it.  I'm sure it will be fine for late lunch.  But tomorrow will be better and it will still be cold.

The chili looks great. There is absolutely nothing wrong with watching the rain. I find it very soothing.

We're all bundled up in blankets (including the dogs) drinking a pot of tea. It is wonderful.

I often wish we had a porch to sit on and watch rain, although I'm not sure that I would be sitting out there if it was only 52ºF.
