Dana's Medicare card came in the mail yesterday.  I picked up the mail this morning and it was there.  At one point I was talking to someone at Humana and said that would happen.  Manifesting reality again.  

All the work I did was worth it since I learned a lot and used my brain for problem solving and a little manipulation.  Good practice.  But at the end of the day we got the card about the same time as I solved the problem on the phone so I'm not sure it made a difference in the time line of getting Dana corrected in the system.

Like doing pushups and then finding out you had already passed the Physical Readiness Test.

Meanwhile I received a message from USAA that said I had two deposits in my account.  They were labeled Corrective payment and Corrective Misc with no further explanation.

WTF deposits

On the one hand I'm all for having anyone deposit money into my account without explanation.  Be nice to have a couple of extra zeros on this one.  BUT, I really want to know.

Clicking the plus sign for the further description did not yield any further description.

I tried to just send a message to USAA but for banking that is not available.  So I called.  Saturday morning, low staffing.  Twenty five minute wait.

And, I'm thinking I'll put it on my schedule for Monday afternoon.  

I suspect it is something do do with my USAA auto insurance.  They likely calculated wrong and this is a kickback.  Since it is USAA internal they don't add much of a description in the account.  I'm not overly concerned but I am interested.  And funny I did not get a message saying 'Oops, we took out too much and will be returning some of it'.

I'm still basking in the glory of my victory over bureaucracy so I think I'll just enjoy that for a couple of days.
