The Stones concert was at Austin's Circuit of the Americas, a huge F1 racing track.  Huge.  With not too many access roads.  Well, that's not fair, there  is one.  Some quotes about people trying to get there:

The traffic congestion was "evacuating New Orleans 5 hours before hurricane landfall" levels of bad.

We had to turn around after 2 hrs 15 minutes (leaving 78702) because a passenger in my car was going to soil himself. It looked like we were another 1 hour away. Traffic was literally 1-2 mph.

and

Same. 3.5 hours in a car to get there from south austin. People driving on the sidewalks and against traffic. And now I heard they are out of food. Getting out could get people hurt. I’m fighting fir a refund for this shit. It’s like the Ice storm of concerts.

and

Just spoke with some people who have been in traffic since 6:30 at 8:00pm. they're about a mile away stuck, said people are ditching uber and parking on side of road and walking. Sounds like a shit show which is confirmed looking at google maps. Way to go COTA.

Apparently the show was good but Dana does not regret skipping it and I'm glad I was not enticed to go.

The cheap SRO was $150, I think. Decent seats were in the $700 range.

Funny, I was just wondering today if the Stones would keep touring without Charlie. Guess that answers that one.
