It is pretty quiet here... the way we like it

This is clearly the off season.  But it is really nice weather so the empty restaurants and beaches may not suit the business people (and lots of places are closed or only open this weekend after we're gone) but we love it.  Here is what the beach looked like today:

First time either Zoe or Toby had seen the beach and ocean.  They were both skeptical of the waves but loved the dead pelican smells.  I made Zoe go in the water with me.  Not too deep.  She was not thrilled with all the movement but was a trouper. 

The beach was nice and clean (also not oil leak season) and perfect for walking and wading.

We're going to a beach restaurant tonight hopefully eating on the porch.
