Travels without charlie

 I just downloaded my boarding pass to see my sister @susandennis in Seattle.  So far so good.  I've travelled so much in my life I hardly think about the process but it becomes much more difficult as I get older, more settled, and less adventurous.  Only packing and driving to the airport to go and I'll be there.  That and making sure everything is charged and downloaded.  Wouldn't want a moments boredom to enter the picture.  MUST be entertained.  

I've got a Kindle book and a couple of audio books.  

Unfortunately unlike the olden days I've got to engineer some food but I'll go to the store today.  I could buy it online with the airlines but their stuff is, no surprise, expensive and unappetizing.  I'll make a sandwich and take a protein bar and some chips or something like that.  TBD.  It is a direct flight for a change.  I'm used to Southwest Airlines and having to change planes in Denver or some random airport.  This is my first ever flight on Alaskan Airlines and the first NOT on Southwest in years.  But I'm going with the direct flight on an unknown variable so we'll see.  Finger's crossed.  I did upgrade my seat so I'm not sitting in the middle row.  Claustrophobic extra charge.  Worth every penny.

Now to pack.

Oh, I feel that one! I used to love to go out and explore. Now though, I like to stay in the comfy spaces we've created here at the house. *lol*
And, yes, you Must stay entertained. *lol*

Alaska Airlines is great! I took them to Portland once and was impressed.

I've always heard good things about them and the non-stop flight is huge. I didn't get my Pre-Check number in there correctly so it is not on my boarding pass but I'm up on chat right now with them and they are fixing it. Good start.
