But this week is ribs:

Thanksgiving ribs

I used to cook these a lot. I've known how to cook ribs all my life. I don't remember when I didn't know how. My father used a different sauce but they were good.

This is a Texas tomato sauce and is what my wife likes so it is what I make now. I'm easy. It has been nearly two years since I've cooked ribs and I'm out of practice. They came out OK but there was a little anxiety. They cost more now so the stakes are higher.

We'll have good ribs for Thanksgiving and maybe next week we'll have turkey.

As I'm vegetarianly inclined, I've always struggled with ribs because the bones are a bit graphic. But these ribs I would most definitely make an exception for, as they look divine. (Are there even bones in there?) I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I'm sure it's going to be a tasty one at the very least.

Those look great! I have never really gotten the hang of ribs, though if I do them in the slow cooker first they come out pretty tender. What’s your trick?
