Beta no more

I've been a beta tester for Google as long as I've had a Pixel. But their latest beta update to 14 whatever is kind of a disaster and 14.1.1 didn't get any better. Not a huge number of issues but enough that I decided to bail
One of the things about being a beta tester is that reverting to the publicly released version means a complete reload. I've had my phone (Pixel 6) a while now so I figured why not. I first made sure that I could still sign into my various high security sites without my 2FA app that I typically use. I had a phone die and getting into paypal and my government pay site was kind of a problem. But having covered that I opted out of the program and restarted. So far, so good. Installing number 73 of 163 apps (???). No idea where the apps are but there are a bunch of them. I'll be signing in for the rest of the day but the phone should be happy. Right now it is just hot.

Date: 2023-04-29 17:09 (UTC)I haven't loaded a beta in a couple of years and have no idea why not. BUT... I think 14 won't be breaking my cycle. Thanks for the heavy lifting.
