The flooding, at least in this area, was over predicted. I suspect Austin and south got a lot more. For once the breadth of the weather system went south of us. We still got a lot of rain and a few decent thunder claps and there are varying chances of rain for the next 10 days. Fine with me. The wild flowers are having a blast. This from our walk:

Things started off slowly but it has become a spring full of flowers for the first time in four years.  Zoe and I are enjoying it immensely.

Our morning pickleball game was cancelled yesterday due to drizzle but one of the members grabbed a couple of courts and we got together an impromptu group at noon.  It was hot but fun.  I think I lost more than I won but maybe not.  I ran around a bunch and it was hot so I was soaking wet by the end.

Today and tomorrow are quiet days.  Zoe and Toby and I did our walk but I don't have much else planned.  Maybe a nap.  I've got a big pile of goodwill stuff I gleaned from my attic box.  I'd put a bunch of t-shirts up there a year ago.  Time for them to go.  It is actually a pretty big pile.  I now have all my clothes in one dresser, a fairly small closet and one box for sweaters.  Oh, and one suite in Seattle taking up space in my sister's closet.

Smaller and smaller footprint until I have only the last one before I lift it from the ground.  Surprisingly comforting for me.

I wish I could do the same with my clothing, but I till wear most of it, even the dressy clothes for work.
