It is Zoe and me and will be so for another week or so.  I don't much mind.  It reminds me of long ago when I was single and travelling with Dylan (Zoe's previous incarnation).  We lived together in a lot of situations.  In a truck for a trip across country, in a sailboat in Florida, in an apartment.  He and I were attached.  Zoe is becoming much the same as we are just two.  She follows me room to room and we walk a bunch.  Unlike Dylan she is an off leash girl.  Everything tells you not to do that but she is perfect.  I've seen a squirrel run across the road and she looks but does not do what is by far her most favorite thing.  She understands better than most teenagers what are her limitations and invariable minds her own business.

We go walking on our usual walk but I also include one around the block later at night before bed.

There are less than half a dozen people in this development who walk their dogs off leash.  I see them all at one point or another.  The dogs just pass each other kind of nodding hello.  Maybe a sniff.  But minding their own business.

Everyone is circling around the table for Thanksgiving.  School is out all week so the traffic patterns are weird.

I've got the Ranch to go to Thursday morning.  They are having Thanksgiving there but I'm going to do my dog walking and move on before that starts.

My pickleball class is Wednesday night and it seems like it will be held as usual.  But a couple of hours at the Dog Ranch and a couple of hours playing PB is all I've got scheduled until Sunday.

Quiet times.
