Unconnected
Jun. 2nd, 2024 09:44First is just an observation. If one were to remove the words 'like' and 'you know' from all of the podcasts online it would reduce the volume of them enough that there would be room to pronounce more of the 't's'.
A week or so ago I was scratching Zoe's ear as usual. She yelped. I could have and probably should have acted then but I waited. Then Thursday night she was just walking around and yelped. I immediately sent an email to the vet asking for an appointment. Zoe and I went in and had the ear, eye, nose and throat check. Her right ear was infected but everything else was OK. Got ear drops and have been giving them to her. Other than that she's OK. So very happy that it is a small thing.
She apparently is maintaining her weight which is down a little over five pounds. The only real change was I put her on Purina Pro Plan. More expensive food but I'm convinced is better for her. Turns out to be. I feed her as much as always but she has lost and maintained a little less weight. So nice.
The doc said her teeth are good too. First time I've gotten that. 90% of the treats she gets are pieces of greenies. I just cut up the big ones and she ends up having one or maybe a little more each day. Plus some tooth cleaning gum kind of treats we give them both twice a week. This is pretty huge since I've never had the patience to brush the teeth of a dog and it is very expensive to get them cleaned.
So I'm pretty happy with her condition right now. I only wish I could walk her more. Ugh.
