90 PCT done and the tenants have moved in

There is still some trim work and some painting.  But it is done enough to welcome home the chicks.  They do not konw what to think of all the room.  As it is I partitioned off half of the hotel.  Their space has still quadrupled.  I put the heat lamp where their nests will be so they can warm up at night if need be and added a dropcam on the halfway partition so I can make sure they are safe.


Meanwhile my dog, Zoe, is proving that the coop is varment proof by trying to get in.  I can hear her (and so can the chicks) banging around trying to find a way in to see what the hell that cheeping is.  No success so the testing is good.

They are way more fun to watch now that I have a good view and they have room. They are, right now, doing some exploratory work on the place. This is more fun.

That is a beautiful and strong coop! They are going to love all that room.

I have tried to watch the chick cam but no luck so far. We have very slow internet speed - could that affect it?

Unfortunately I suspect the speed is killing any streaming possibilities.

It is the trade off of living in a nice place away from demographic concentration.

Yeah, she probably thinks the 3600SQFT with free access to the outside and half a dozen beds to sleep in is not comparable to her OWN apartments. Typical teenager.
