Social Pickleball

I played Pickleball yesterday with one group and today with another. Both were fun although yesterday I flamed out after a couple of hours. I think I did not have enough fuel. We did fix that by having some ridiculously huge tenderloin medallions for dinner to test the new sous vide we got for Christmas. I can report it works very well.

Today's PB was with the easy, we don't really care if we win, group. So it was not taxing but was fun. I did have one funny thing happen. One of the women who I would put in the cranky and I don't want to much know them category asked if I'd help her and her partner train. They want to put together a doubles team and play tournaments and thought that training against a pair of men would be good. I don't know the other guy she mentioned nor the other woman but said I'd be happy to help.

So, you never know.

I don't much have anyone that I interact with other than Dana and the pickleball groups. So the groups have become a social circle of a sort. It is nice. But a bit strange.

And, of course the dogs. My true social group.

Tomorrow is Ranch day so I'll see them off for Christmas eve.
