I'm so ready to be able to reach

Most of the day today after the morning's PT left was spent without a sling.  And no pain meds at all.  I'm careful of not over reaching or carrying too much in my left hand or typing too long.  But otherwise it is like, after 15 days, it is nearly healed.   I know that is not the case and am reminded that I need Dana to help me tie my hair back.  I've not had the nerve to try to move my hand above my shoulder.  But that is coming.

OT tomorrow morning and we'll see where things are.  She is very afraid of going too far, more so than am I.  She stays in exactly what the doc says which is fine.  

I've got a couple of goals.  Dana is going up to see her son on the 6th of November so I have to be able to tie back my own hair by then.  

And then, of course, the ability to ride my bike which in my mind is January.  At least around the block.  I've got my trail bike which is a more upright posture with less weight on the arms, not a tuck kind of position like my road bike.  And I can tool around the neighborhood on level streets during the quiet day with a very little chance of falling.  Looking forward to that.

Otherwise we've been through the Seattle winds for a couple of days now.  I think it will pass but it has been noisy and for those with trees a little nerve wracking.  Since our trees are three years old I'm not too worried about them falling on the roof.  We are, as usual, safe and sound.
