Beginning of PT
Dec. 14th, 2021 16:55In the category of so far, so good, my shoulder began its journey from being something I had to be careful about to something I'm building up. But for a few things such as hold a weight out to my side, pretty much any weight more than my arm, and putting weight on my arms out front such as pushups or riding a bike, I'm nearly healed. My deltoid (which I suspect had to be cut through or pushed apart like a drape to get to the top of my humerus) still gets annoyed by too much work so I'm a bit careful of it but now I'll try anything. If it hurts like a sharp pain rather than a pain typical of any workout I pull back and assess. But otherwise I'll do anything, move any way I want. The feeling is rather nice, like a good stretch.
My appointment with the PT went well. I think she's about 15 years old but than kind of thing happens a lot now days. Children running the world. And she was late. My appointment was for 3 and started at 3:11. No acknowledgement of being late or apology or any apparent reason why. So I was pissed off to start. I have zero tolerance for someone who does not value my time equally with their own. Years of theater and military experience they don't have.
