Quiet week ahead
Apr. 14th, 2024 09:39I've got a lunch scheduled for tomorrow with a couple of computer people from my past and Tuesday/Thursday with the dogs. Dana is going to Tyler for a reunion on, I think, Thursday. And that's it. No medical stuff. Actually looking at the sked I end up staying away from docs for two weeks. Not much going on in my life next week either.
There are a few small projects I can work on. I've got to pull out the carpet that was on the floor when we were gone. Zoe had some issues. So I'm going to put it on the drive and run the carpet cleaner on a sunny day when it will quickly dry.
And there's some caulk that needs replacing in a couple of places. I've been putting it off since it means being on the floor working which is not easy. But a quiet week or two is a good time for such a project.
I also really want to take our knives down to be sharpened. It is half an hour south of us so kind of a PIA to get to but I'll make the trek and maybe just do a drop off and return next day. In the past I've dropped off, gone to run an errand, then came back to get them. But I think that made it more difficult for us both.
So not much going on. It is nice to be able to schedule a couple of things at a time and not feel pressured.
