Still raining, still dreamin

I was an early Hendrix fan.  Some of his stuff was too sophisticated for me but much of it was and is just wonderful.  To this day when it rains for any length of time I hear this song in my head.  This is our day:

I don't much care as Zoe and I have already done our thing and I don't have anything else I need to do.  Our screened in porch is a great place to read while the rain is poring down as long as the wind is not too strong.  And I've got a good mystery to work on.  

This was biscuit morning.  I felt like making some and worked on my good recipe.  It did not fail.  Nice rising, flaky biscuits.  And bacon.  And eggs.  Nice breakfast.  I'm ready for a shower and then some rain.

i forgot you had a screened in porch. what a great way to do rain... we have rain predicted for all of today and, like yesterday, this has no bearing on wet from the sky. so far, like all but 10 minutes of yesterday, sun out.
