Port Aransas
Feb. 16th, 2022 15:11We're not exactly being steeped in the coast culture. It is way off season here, the lull before spring break, and we're not doing the fishing thing or any of the rest. We're mostly just eating and watching curling and walking the dogs on the beach. Who says retirement isn't exciting?
Zoe had fun in the surf with me. We got hit by a couple of waves that went up to her stomach. She runs from the first bit of foam but then jumps in with me once she gets over that. Cool day and cold water but it was fun and she was game.

The parking bollards have crochet tops on them. Maybe a hundred of them.

And they are really well done:

We got in our steps and came back home to rest before dinner. Work, work, work.
