I've used a CPAP now for about 20 years.  I've had a combination of apnea and snoring for probably 10 before that.  Before I had the CPAP my throat was used to snoring.  It was hardened.  Since I've had my CPAP my throat has gotten 'soft'.  I can't sleep without it.  If I do sleep without it I have a bad sore throat the next day and it makes me feel like I'm sick.

Today, in addition to a little jet lag from changing two time zones and just traveling in general I didn't sleep well and when I did manage to sleep I created my sore throat.

Amazon delivered today.  My power supply.  So I'm back and ready to nap!!  And sleep.

Tomorrow will be a much better day, no April fooling.

Hey, April 1 is a great day! Only because it's my birthday, though, not because of the April fooling (which I never notice because of said birthday). It's a very good day to have a birthday, as nobody ever forgets it.

Thanks! Given we're isolating, it was about as low-key as it's possible to get, but very pleasant.

Hope you get some better sleep and feel better! I used a CPAP for a couple of years, but my apnea was minor and I was able to lose weight and not need the machine. Thankfully with my pandemic weight, I haven't gone back to needing one. My husband always said it was like sleeping with Darth Vader. ;)
