bill_schubertI geared my day today around playing PB at 1. We had it scheduled and I was looking forward to it but apparently was the only one who had not checked to see that the tennis center is closed. And my posting on the app a couple of hours ago asking if everyone was going was ignored. So I was driving there before I found out the center was closed. What I get for trusting people. Trust but verify.
Speaking of presidential quotes. I'm over halfway through Liz Cheney's book and it is excellent. She is writing a history book, one that will be read decades in the future and she is a serious person and knows that. The ripples of the book are already evident in current headlines. She has dedicated her life to upholding the constitution and is doing a hell of a job.
I remain her loyal opposition. A quaint idea we need to revive.
But now on to football. Couple of good games on today. And tomorrow.
We may go to see Dana's brother. She feels obligated to do so but doesn't really want to. I'll go if she does.
