bill_schubertI just got off the phone with Dana's case worker who said she will be out of stir on Tuesday aroud 2PM, released to my custody. There will be follow on PT and OT at the house which is nice. The PT will continue as long as they think it is necessary.
All in all it is a good prognosis. I'll go over and see her around 2 today when she gets back from her afternoon PT. She is sore now days from using long unused muscles but she is for the most part enjoying it and definitely benefiting. I can tell by the way she moves now. It is so much better and more confident.
We'll be hanging up the wheelchair for now I think. I'm intending to give my off road bike that I never use to a friend. It is an amazing bike but I no longer have the type of muscles needed to propel it right and I know someone who does and who has a son. I'll be happy for it to be in a good home.
Pickleball this morning and I cut the grass so now it is time for some lunch and get ready to see Dana.
