We made it back OK just a bit ago. It is 93 degrees here and 60 where we left.
Absolutely no problems with the flights at all. Everything left on time and arrived early. I did go out of my way to thank the TSA people for being there but no lines (we were there EARLY both days) so no problems.
The wedding was pretty nice. Better than I expected and I didn't hate it too much and I LOVED seeing my sons and grandaughters and new daughter in law and ex wife. It was fun. Of course, it was a PIA since the son getting married was busy as were all the people organizing the wedding. So No time with them. Barely talked to the new in laws. We did interact some with my granddaughters. Not enough but some. I've just not gotten to see them much so it is hard but I did promise to figure out a way to come out and see them. Soon.

Lillian (Lill), Alex, Jen, Juliett (who went by her first name Lauranna until recently.. no one told me). There are, of course, a thousand wedding pictures. There was a link so you can upload any pictures you took. Several people already have. I did not take any of the wedding and only a couple of the reception including:

Quite a few at the gig.
But I did get one of the two wives:

Donna (AKA, UNO, my first wife who goes by that name around us) helps Dana (AKA, Trey, ditto) with her dress.
Everyone gets along.
And this one the night before at the rehearsal dinner:

Matt and a friend, Ginger, who is truly just a travelling friend. No romance. But she did iron his shirt for him. Interesting pair.
We got up at 3AM on the day we left and 3:45 today. I don't much like that.
Meanwhile, back to Robert Plant. The woman sitting next to Dana in the plane was a 75 year old musician who plays rockabilly and blues and is touring next month with Robert Plant's tour in Europe. Her name is Rosie Flores and we had a great talk. Of course, it was Dana. It is what she does.
So I now know someone who works with Robert Plant, one of my favorite musicians.
All in all I'm bleary brained and will be that way for a couple of days until I fully decompress. And things will NOT be back to normal until we pick up the dogs on Monday.
But we made it there and back.
