Another day another transport
Jul. 21st, 2026 18:31This time a short one memorable only for the name of the transportee. Crispy Creme (formerly known as Doughnut).
He has ringworm. Not a huge deal but it means he is isolated. So I didn't interact much at all.
It was only a half hour each way transport. Not a big deal at all. As usual I had nothing else going on so it was easy to do.
We're in the teeth of summer now. 100 degrees every day for a while. Fortunately it was really late coming this year so we'll be done with it in a month or so and hope of cooler weather coming.
I've got lots of pickleball tomorrow. A couple of hours in the morning and a clinic in the afternoon. So I'll be exhausted tomorrow night. And then I'm signed up for two more hours on Thursday morning to see if the clinic taught me anything.
And, finally, we're returning to the soccer season tomorrow night. Always hopeful but not expecting too much. It will be nice to see Austin FC back out there.
